So Hard...

Tonight I said goodbye to Dustin again. On one hand, it was easier because I knew what to expect, but on the other hand, it was also harder--because I knew what to expect. =( I just keep telling myself that we are over halfway through this.

The past 16 days were absolutely amazing!! We settled back into our groove almost immediately and although we did nothing spectacular, spending it together doing nothing was wonderful. The things I liked the best were falling asleep in his arms, feeling safe and protected (I didn't have to take a single sleeping pill while he was home) and just getting to do the "run of the mill" stuff with him--and the new *bling* I got. =P

I am so blessed to be married to such an amazing man. Dustin, I love you with all my heart and am eagerly waiting to be in your arms again!

What is this "bling" that you speak of?

I'm glad you two had a peaceful and restful time together; I've heard that expectations can ruin leave days for military families.

Just a little upgrade from her old ring. I think she likes it. =)

Dustin "upgraded" my diamond ring that I wear on my right hand--the picture just doesn't do it justice!

The picture explains why you put upgrade in quotes. Holy toledo!
